In a survey of drug use of fourteen types of drugs by Korean high school students, the results are follows. 58％ of male and 16.1％ of female, ever smoked in his/her life time. 37.8％ of male and 7.8％ of female smoked in the past month. 84.2％ of male and 52.1％ of female, ever drinked in his/her life time. 46.9％ of male and 21.1％ of female drinked in the past month. 2.2％ of the students ever used marijuana in his/her life time : 17％, stimulants : 3.2％, inhalants : 2.3％, tranquilizers : 3.8％, hypnotics : 33.6％, analgesics : 1.1％, antitussives : and 1.3％, antihistamines : 1.1％, cocaine : 0.5％, amphetamines : 0.5％, narcotics : and 1.5％, hallucinogens. Drug use and delinquency showed a closed relationship : drug users committed higher degree of delinquent behaviors and deliquents used drugs more frequently.
